Tool data read and write acc

Hello,
I want to access the tool information from an outside control. I have found in the manual (M350, DDCS-Expert) that there is Modbus communication available in a RS232 port, what information can I access with this communication method?

Or any other way of read and write the tool data from an external PLC or PC?
