The main developers of Diablo 4 have stressed that they do not want players to buy cheap Diablo IV Gold "feel that they have to pay to win" when the game launches in the coming year.
In the latest Diablo 4 livestream(opens in new tab) Game director Joe Shely, along with the associate director of games Joesph Piepiora, as well as community manager Adam Fletcher gave fans an update on everything Diablo 4, as well as providing an insight into the process prior to the game's release in the summer of next year.
During the livestream they discussed their thoughts on the Diablo 4 battle pass (around the 39:15 mark in the video below) and also the coming seasons of the game. "It's extremely important for us to balance the elements you'll find within the Battle Pass," Piepiora explained, "the way that they're engaging but also fair. We don't want to create situations in which players feel like they have to pay. "To draw a clear line from the Battle Pass and the seasons in Diablo 4 Piepiora clarified that "the season's journey continues present in Diablo 4, in the same way you experienced it within Diablo 3." The chapter-based mechanics will give players a variety of goals as they progress through the season , and allow players to earn rewards in game to their character. "All of the content for the season is free. It's not tied to the battle pass itself," Shely adds.
To clarify any confusion, Shely clarified that in the event that Diablo 4 launches on June 6 2023, the game won't be available immediately to begin season one. "Season one will be released just a few weeks after the launch of the game. And the season will begin when season one begins all players will start in the same way, so everyone will be on the same game," the developer said. The competitive aspects of Diablo 4 (e.g. : leader boards) will likely to be available in the coming seasons and those who do not pay for early access will not be able to complain about any unfairness.
"Our major season updates are completely free. They're packed with new progression mechanics, brand new monsters to take on, challenges, new quests and even content to take in," Piepiora says "there's plenty to look forward to buy Diablo IV Gold, and all that is included in the cost of the box game you've already bought."
