These two exams are closely related. On December 17, 2024, CompTIA rebranded its CASP+ certification as CompTIA SecurityX. This name change highlights the certification's position among CompTIA's advanced "Xpert" level credentials. The CompTIA CASP+ certification and the CAS0-004 exam are retiring on June 17, 2025.
