Hi ytliu,

Many thanks for your help with our controller.

Could you please explain how probing works?

What does parameter #68 do? What are Mode 1 and Mode 2?

Should you first zero the Z axis on the work table, then probe the tool sensor, then fit another tool.

I am very confused!

Also trhere have been 2 versions of Probe.nc: One does 3 readings and averages them, the other is much shorter.

Sometimes I get some sort of probe activity that is move in Z-, touch sensor, retract and stop. Other times when I switch on the machine the probe just rises, Z+, and doesnt attempt to touch the tool sensor.

Dear Will_D,

3 times the tooling method may be for some knife block defects, the latest firmware has been canceled 3 times on the knife, into a single knife on the way!
