Hello Ytliu.

I watched your facebook video of the MPG running the .nc file.
really fantastic, this feature would be useful when setting up new parts to me machined.
So how do you do this is the question.
Well done my friend.

you need to set the #3 parameter ("Function of tool path key") to 1, and the "TOOL PATH" key will be used to enter or exit the MPG guidance function.

If I wanted to verify a particular nc type code (programme) looking at each line for line by using the MPG.
What settings on the MPG do I need.
I understand the control will not view the code(programme) IE in reverse but only forwards.
The setting MPG #3 "jog" ? to next line of a code would be very useful when setting up and verifying new programs prior to running using the "RUN" key. less accidents.
I could then alter the through my remote keyboard  EDIT the file through the remote keyboard and save back to the USB stick ?
Thanks

If you want to check the nc code line by line, you can use the single step mode (SBK): in the READY state, press the F4 key, the system enters the single step mode, after which the start key is pressed each time. The code executes one line. Press the F4 key after pressing the Pause key and the system will exit the single step mode.

In order to use the above features, you need to connect the usb keyboard.

With the usb keyboard, you can edit the nc code online.

Hello Ytliu.

Using version 2019-03-20-107 NOR

Connected a USB hub to the control USB input, 1 port is a wireless keyboard plug but
at first the control display would not see my USB stick with the NC file.
Just the main files and parameter files.
All scroll and entr functions were OK.
Then changed parameter #120 to 1, then the control was able to see the nc file.
So far no problems.
Now entered the program and it ran it OK under the normal mode cont mode.
Paused the program and I sent the mill back to start all over from the beginning.
Again not a problem.
Pressed reset, entered in the file again, and pressed F4 on the keyboard, this did not work.
I pressed the start button and SBK appeared on the top LH of the screen, by pressing this
it did jump from line to line but stalled after 10 lines, and the control "locked" up. Froze.
I had to power down and power up, not a major issue.

So I tried the F3 to edit, the program lines appeared, but no visible cursor on the screen so
it would not let me edit or scroll.
Running a black background with white numbers letters.

I think I am doing something wrong.
Please help
Thanks
John

In addition, in the single-step mode, sometimes there is no response by pressing the start button, I am looking for the cause of the problem.

If this happens, you don't need to turn off the power, you can press the reset button to exit.

New version loaded OK.
F3 cursor and edit functions now OK.

F4 and enter works for about 7 lines and locks up.
SBK visible in the LH top of the screen.

Thanks
