We’re at a bit of a crossroads here. Debating whether to build and run our own setup or just go with a private cloud hosting provider. Running it ourselves sounds nice in terms of control, but that’s a lot of upfront cost, hardware headaches, and ongoing maintenance. On the flip side, a provider could take a lot of that weight off our shoulders, but I’m wondering how much flexibility and performance we’d lose.
Anyone here gone through this decision? What tipped the scales for you, and are you happy with how it turned out?
