Editors Note: The IIHF on Wednesday canceled the remainder of the 2022 World Juniors tournament, citing the ongoing spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant. The announcement was made with preliminary games already in progre s after a player on the Ru sian National Team tested positive for COVID-19.
