DDCS V4.1 keyboard

I'm testing my DDCS V4.1 and trying to use a keyboard with it, but all I get is  beeps (no joy). I did a search in the PDF manual and got no results for keyboard. The DDCS V4.1 works OK without the keyboard. Any ideas? Is there a keyboard setting?

I installed the 4.1 but also just getting beeps when I want to use a keyboard
