For different material handling needs, the truss gantry cranes are designed with different configurations. As for truss gantry cranes, there are mainly single girder crane truss and double girder crane truss, and the both the two types of cranes can also be semi gantry cranes as needed

Single Girder truss gantry crane

Single girder crane truss refers to the gantry crane with one truss main girder and used with CD or MD type electric hoist to lift heavy goods. The single girder crane truss can be applied on many different work occasions, such as port, shipyard, railway line and material yard. Truss semi gantry crane only has two support legs on the one end and the other end of the crane needs support from building or other structures, and it can travel along the track.

Features of single girder truss gantry crane

• The structure of main girder is triangular truss, which strengthens the whole structure, lightens the weight, and enhances wind resistance. Wind resistance is class 6, non-working wind resistance is 11;
• Thermal expansion seamless steel legs are jointing with (or truss legs) and the main girder, ground girder by the bolt or pin connections. Stable structure, easy installation and removal.
• The design and manufacture of the truss crannies to meet the national requirements of rules and standards which is effective currently and the need for using under special meteorological conditions.
• It’s environmental machine, which complies with environmental requirements relevant laws and regulations;

Double girder truss gantry crane

Double girder crane truss has two truss main beams and its trolley usually travel along the track on the top of the beams, and the crane truss travels along its track on the ground. When the double girder gantry crane has cantilever, there should be saddle equipped with the crane; if there is no cantilever, there is no need to set the saddle on the crane truss.
