Can anyone suggest a probe for #3 option. The difficult touch X Y Z option.
I have a static type electronic touch probe, but the shank is not concentric with the spherical ball.
Yes I bought it cheap. Silly me.
Currently using the wiggler type for edging off and I believe is not suitable for probe function # 3

Thanks

John

If the cube is isolated from the table as in fig 3.56 in the user manual then any bit of round bar of known diameter will work.

If the block is in contact with the table or you are probing the real work-piece then you need an insulated probe like in fig 3.57. If you have access to a lathe or friend with a lathe then it should be easy to machine one out of some bar stock and an insulating plastic.
