Screen displays "starting" and does nothing else after update

we purchased the DDSC-Expert Standalone Motion Controller (5 axis). It was booting up fine. We followed instructions to update and after doing such, whenever we power on the screen simply displays "starting" and never changes (let it run overnight even0. I saw a post where an admin provided someone an "install.rar" file to place on a USB and boot to reset. Same issue - it just displays "starting'. How do we rest and get past this please?
