is it possible to create an alternative firmware for the DDCS controller in which it is possible to use the controller as electronic gears for a lathe and display the DRO readings on the controller display based on the data on the movements along the machine axes from the encoders of the X and Z axes? that is, so that, if necessary, you can use the "simplified" mode of operation of the controller, similar to mobile phones that have a main menu and a simplified menu.
it would be great to be able to work with the controller not only in CNC mode, but also in manual mode, turning the handwheels of the lathe feeds. Thank you in advance!
