How to copy and paste files?

Hello,
I am trying to copy and paste files but it seems i am just deleting them....
I select the file, press "fro sro sjr" and the file disappears
then i go to destination directory and the manual of instructions says "press to paste"

then i ask: Press what?? "fro sro sjr" again?
nothing happens... and the file is gone forever

I would like to have the original manual of instructions... someone can share the link?
and eventually the files that suppose to be in the controller... i think i delete them all..

I found that from an other forum :

"In file menu :-
TAB = copy
SHIFT =  paste
MODE = delete - use with caution as no ‘are you sure’ prompt.
Z- = enter key
