Hello everybody,
just get my DCCS and the first question:
I use inductive switches for home and limits as follows:
Home-x (--) Home-y (--) Home-z (++)
Limit-x (++) Limit-y(++)
Would like the home(s) acting also as limit
How should I make the settings in DCCS ?
Thanks Mauro

If you want to use the proximity switch for the limit and also for the HOME, you first need to connect the proximity switch signal to the corresponding limit port, and then set the corresponding parameter in #116-#119, for example, the X axis. The proximity switch is connected to LIMITX+, and the #116 parameter(X-axis zero signal source select) needs to be set to 1 (X++limit signal). When the HOME operation is performed, the X axis will move in the positive direction to find the HOME signal.

Hi ytlu,
let's see if I've understood:
The 3 Home switches are at position X --  Y -- Z ++
I have to set #116 at 2
                  #117 at 2
                   #118 at 1
so when Homing X and Y will go in negative direction and Z in positive.
Is that correct ?
and what about #64  #67  ?

Your understanding is correct. When #116-#119 is equal to 0, the direction of HOME is determined by #64-#67.

OK thanks ytliu, homing is ok,
now I have a problem with hard limits.
in MPG operation , the hard limits that act also as home (X- Y-  Z+) are recognized , therefore the jogging stops when lthose limits are reached.
That does not work for the limits that are at X+ Y+, tha jogging continues also whrn limits are acting.
I think to have set the params correctly:
#50 continue H
#51 enable
#400-401 enable
#404-406 enable
#408-415 low

Any guess ?
thanks
Mauro

Any clues on fixing the display that includes the backlash setting.
As I repeat, the moves X Y Z are correct but if setting back for example .3 mm
then a move of for example X10 mm displays X 10.3 mm.
This cannot be correct and am I the only person to have this error.?? I don´t think so.
Can one of your DDNC engineers contact me please with a solution immediately.
I recently purchased this DDCS 2.1, I have not signed off receipt of
delivery via AliExpress, as it seems I will have no alternative but to send the unit back, and
inform AliExpress to refuse advertising this product.
