DDCS V3.1 WILL WORK ON LATHES!!

Thanks to the help of Jessy Chen, the problem with Z axis on lathes has been resolved. If you have tried using this on a lathe, you will run into a problem with your Z axis. The Z safety zone needs to be set to a negative value to allow the Z axis to move towards the spindle. Factory firmware won't allow this.
Contact Jessy and she'll hook you up with a firmware upgrade.

I think better way - disable ddcs safe Z move. Its also actually for milling.
To disable ddcs safe Z move, delete /mnt/nand1-1/safez.nc

ok, there is no spindle feedbak for thread or index, I hope to change a firmware in the future toget an input for the spindle.

Dear Sir, please find the attached file.
Decompress it to the root directory of the USB-key.
Insert into the controller, and restart the controller.
System will update it automatically.

Topic starter, doing funny trick with change spindle motor to stepper motor, every time when need threading. Stepper controled like A axis. He upload video, but i cant find link.
