G92 is not working? I set my lathe saddle to center of my z axis. I run the following code and it returns to machine zero, NOT the zero I just set. Anyone?

G90 G92 X0 Z0
G0 Z4.5
M0 (PRESS A KEY)
G0 Z0
M30

Add "g04 p0" before and after g92.

G20
G90
g04 p0
G92 X0 Z0
g04 p0
G0 Z4.5
M0 (PRESS A KEY)
G0 Z0
M30

Or try longer pause.

The G04 did the trick! Don't know why, but if works. Thanks to whoever posted this.
