Today, I will share a case of a 10 ton gantry crane from a timber factory in the Philippines. We have many projects in the Philippines, but not many gantry crane projects. Since most gantry cranes work in the open air, they have high requirements for corrosion resistance and durability. We are confident that we can do as well as our competitors. Today I share this gantry crane case, hoping to be recognized by more customers.

Functional design of Philippine single beam gantry crane

• Anti-falling protection for the Three-in-One electric motor of trolley and crane prevents from accidental falling.
• Rain Cover: For lifting mechanism of outdoor cranes, electric cabinet and driving mechanism.
• Wind resistant function: Wind detector device and protection loop have been installed on all outdoor gantry cranes.
• All steel bare surface are mechanically pretreated, chemically degreased.
• Two pretreatment antirust primer layers to improve adhesion of the enamelled coating to metal.
• Final Paint the color is depend on customer's.
• Four coats is about 30 micrometers and they can prevent steel structure corrosion effectively.
  

In the need for actual use and in order to save costs for customers, the gantry crane uses a single girder design, Single girder 10 ton gantry crane consists of 5 main parts, the bridge structure, A-frame support legs, the traveling mechanism, the trolley and the electric equipment.

Design details of 10 ton single beam gantry crane

• Mechanical Part: Main girder with U template and range of welding surface into the composite beams. Use the high quality carbon steel of Q235B or Q345B. The main girder and end beams are connected with the high strength bolt of 10.9 grade. The Crane travelling mechanism uses trinity drive.
• Electric System: Module control speed, micro-speed and double speed. Traveling and lifting smoothly. The power for trolley moving adopts flat cable, sliding smoothly.
• Protection Devices: Preventing hook clashing the top. Circuit self-test protection device. Outdoor gantry cranes are equipped with hoisting mechanism, electrical control box and rainproof devices. Anti-collision, sound and light alarm devices. Equipped with rail clamp.
• Controlling Ways: Crane control operation. Generally, ground controlling. Cab controlling is also available according to customer's requirement. Operating cab: open style and close style, left or right installation.
