Title: Backlash control in V3 [Print This Page] Author: edelec Time: 2019-5-18 21:29 Title: Backlash control in V3 Can I ask if backlash is now handled correctly in Version3.1?
Coordinate display matches actual position?
I also assume that the DIR change timing issue is now resolved.
Thanks for the excellent and quick response to past problems.

The DIR change timing issue has been resolved.
I will redesign the backlash feature recently.Author: ytliu Time: 2019-5-21 13:12
Ver: 2019-05-21-110 Description:
1. Add the Ext-key function definition(#446,#447) configuration item: Disable(4), to turn off the Ext-key response;
2. Improve function backlash, all motion mode have increased the backlash;
3. Improve the coordinate display when the backlash is enabled, to ensure that the coordinate display match the actual position;
Note: To ensure that the backlash is always performed correctly, the following configuration is strongly recommended:
#113=1 "Arc interpolation algorithm selection"="Soft algorithm"
#448=0 "MPG control mode"="Open"
#114=0 "Jog support in continuous mode"="Mode 1"

slib.nc in the firmware supports fixing drilling cycles on axis A (G73, G81, G82, G83). Author: edelec Time: 2019-5-21 21:00
That is really great news re backlash, however is that just V3.1 or V2.1 as well? I do not have a controller handy to physically check the install.
What is the function of #448 and its options?
Thanks for the updateAuthor: ytliu Time: 2019-5-22 06:43
This new feature is supported on all DDCS.
When #448=0,Open the MPG control Mode,means the MPG will work in precise mode.In precise mode,the MPG will send out each pulse which the handwhleel has gernerated;
When #448=1,close the precise mode,when the user stop turnning the handwheel of the MPG,the MPG just stop sending pulses.Author: Lindo Time: 2019-5-24 03:30
