DDCS3.1 how to connect to Gecko drive
How do I connect DDCS3.1 controller to Gecko drives? See attached image of Gecko with pinout.https://ibb.co/H4CY243
Machine presently wired with common +5V connection to all drives on each axis.Step and direction assume a grounding pulse.
DDCS3.1 manual state pulse and direction are "differential" +- 5V. I decided to use two quad differential line receiver SN75173to convert step and dir signals from DDCS3.1 unit to work with Gecko step drivers

This provided a +5 to to ground output that is compliant with the Gecko drives.
This board runs on a separate 5v supply.5v from this supply also went out to each Gecko driver board on the machine (pre-existing wiring I did not want to change). The supply shares the same ground COM- for I/O on the DDCS.
